Yesterday, December 7, 1941 -- a date which will live in infamy -- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan . . . The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian Islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. Very many American lives have been lost . . . Always we will remember the character of the onslaught against us. No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory . . .

The graphic art used in propaganda posters during WWII is awesome and instantly recognizable.
I really want to try my hand at doing something similar, but no subjects are coming to mind. I'll probably do a few test ones, and post them on here if they don't turn out too bad. I think it'll end up being a fun project!

Grown-ups love figures. When you tell them that you have made a new friend, they never ask you any questions about essential matters. They never say to you, "What does his voice sound like? What games does he love best? Does he collect butterflies?" Instead, they demand: "How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much does he weigh? How much money does his father make?" Only from these
figures do they think they have learned anything about him.

I like trees because they are resigned to do one thing and that one thing they do good....
